Made in America, these Bergara B-14 Scope Mounts made by Talley Manufacturing offer a unique and simplified one-piece scope ring and base resolution for Bergara B-14 rifles. This simplified mounting organization eliminates the possibility of an "come out of the closet of alignment" interface Oregon "loose connection" between the ring and wrong of tralatitious two-piece designs.  Ultimately this provides more strength and durability than contende steel rings and bases, but with a lighter overall burthen. What height telescope rings do I need for my Bergara B-14?

Easy method of determining required scope ring height

  • Victimisation or s kinda shim (i.e. coins, washers, magnets) stack up the required number of shims to attain coveted scope meridian.
  • Verify unalterable height does not interfere with operation of bolt handle.
  • Meter the final stack of shims.

Torque Recommendations?

  • Cap Screws on Rings: 17-20 in/pound happening ring cap screws. Do not exceed scope manufacturer's allowable torsion specs on main tube. Always suggested to verify with scope maker deductible torques to prevent marking or damage to scope tube.  Always verify with the range manufacturer the maximum  allowable torsion happening main tube.
  • Mounts to Action: Torque can depend on the receiver. Please check with the rifle manufacturer (Bergara) to assert allowable torque into receiver. Forever make sure your torsion wrench is calibrated, Talley Mfg is not responsible for damage caused to scopes or firearms due to over torquing.

Loctite?

  • Although not always necessary, using Loctite for the screws going in the receiver is dead fine. We do not recommend using anything stronger than Loctite Blue 242. We do not recommend using Loctite on the tintinnabulation screws. Always test healthy before applying any Loctite.
